Overdue Builds
Overdue build alerts flag planned builds that have passed their target date without being executed. This helps you identify production delays and decide whether to reprioritize, reschedule, or execute overdue builds.
What Counts as Overdue
A build is considered overdue when all three conditions are met: it's still in PLANNED status, it has a target date set, and that target date is in the past. Builds without a target date are never flagged as overdue — they're treated as unscheduled.
What You See
The overdue builds section on the dashboard lists each overdue build with the product name, SKU, planned quantity, and original target date. Builds are sorted by target date ascending, so the most overdue items appear first.
Taking Action
From the dashboard, you can click an overdue build to go to its detail page. From there you can execute it immediately (if stock is available), update the target date to reschedule, or delete it if it's no longer needed.
You can also manage overdue builds from the Build Queue, where they're visually distinguished from on-time planned builds.
Toggling Overdue Alerts
Overdue build alerts can be turned off in Settings → Alerts. When disabled, the overdue section is hidden from the dashboard. The builds themselves aren't affected — they remain in the queue regardless of the alert setting. See Alert Configuration.
