What is Partsemble?
Partsemble is a cloud-based assembly and inventory management tool for small manufacturers. It handles bills of materials, production builds, stock tracking, and accounting integration — replacing spreadsheets and manual processes with a purpose-built system. Who is Partsemble for?
Small manufacturing businesses with 1–20 employees and $100K–$10M in annual revenue. This includes metal fabricators, hardware manufacturers, electronics assemblers, cabinet and millwork shops, food and beverage producers, and any business that assembles products from components. If you have a bill of materials, Partsemble is designed for you.
What accounting systems does Partsemble integrate with?
Partsemble integrates with QuickBooks Online and Xero. Both support exporting builds and receipts, syncing items, and pulling sales data. The main difference is that QBO supports bidirectional inventory sync while Xero users manage inventory in Partsemble with exports posted as journal entries. See QuickBooks Online and Xero.
Do I need an accounting system to use Partsemble?
No. You can use Partsemble in standalone mode to manage BOMs, track builds, and monitor inventory without connecting an accounting system. The accounting integration adds the ability to sync items, export builds, and pull sales data — but it's optional.
How does the free trial work?
New accounts get a 14-day trial with access to Advanced-level features and Maker-level usage limits. No credit card is required. When the trial ends, choose a plan to continue. Your data is preserved regardless of which plan you pick. See Choosing a Plan.
Is my data secure?
Partsemble runs on Railway (backend) and Vercel (frontend) with PostgreSQL as the database. All connections use HTTPS. Accounting tokens are encrypted at rest. Partsemble never stores your QuickBooks username or password — only OAuth tokens that you can revoke at any time.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel from Settings → Billing and your account becomes read-only at the end of your current billing period. Your data is preserved if you decide to resubscribe later.
How do I get support?
All plans include email support. Advanced plan users also get premium support with faster response times. For feature requests or bug reports, use the in-app feedback option or email support directly.
