Choosing a Plan

Partsemble offers three plans designed for different stages of growth. All plans include the core workflow — products, BOMs, builds, and accounting export. Higher tiers unlock team features, quality assurance, receiving, and sales tracking.

Plan Overview

Maker — $29/month

The Maker plan is for solo operators and very small teams. It covers the full build-and-export workflow for one user.

Included: products and inventory tracking, bills of materials with versioning, quick builds and planned builds, build queue, accounting connection, and build export to your accounting system.

Best for: a single person managing production and wanting to replace spreadsheets with a dedicated tool.

Pro — $49/month

The Pro plan adds team and quality features. Everything in Maker, plus:

Team management with role-based permissions, build assignment (assign planned builds to team members), QA review (require approval before builds are added to inventory), inventory reservation for planned builds, and basic reports.

Best for: growing teams where multiple people touch production, or any business that needs quality control in their build process.

Advanced — $99/month

The Advanced plan unlocks the full platform. Everything in Pro, plus:

Receiving and lot tracking (record incoming inventory with lot numbers and FIFO consumption), supplier management, sales tracking synced from your accounting system, margin tracking per product and per sale, receipt export, advanced reports, premium support, and professional services.

Professional services: The Advanced plan includes 2 integrations. If your business needs additional integrations beyond what's included — custom connections, specialized data flows, or third-party system integrations — Partsemble's team can scope and build them for you through a scoping call and statement-of-work process.

Best for: businesses that need full traceability from receiving through production to sales, or anyone who wants margin visibility across their product line.

Usage Limits

Each plan includes usage allowances. There are two types of limits:

Hard Caps

These limits block creation when reached. You'll see an upgrade prompt explaining your options.

Advanced accounts with more than 10,000 SKUs are contacted for custom pricing.

Metered Usage

These limits have included allowances. If you exceed them, a small overage charge applies after a 3-day grace period. You are never blocked from working.

Sales orders per monthUnlimited*

Advanced plan included allowances: 2,000 builds, 25 users, 200 receipts, 500 sales orders per month. Overage rates apply beyond these amounts.

Overage rates: builds $0.10/each, receipts $0.15/each, sales orders $0.10/each, additional users $5.00/month each.

A warning appears on your dashboard when you reach 80% of any included allowance, so there are no surprises.

tip

Most small manufacturers fit comfortably within the included allowances. Overage pricing is designed as a safety net for busy months, not as a regular cost.

The Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. During the trial:

  • All features are unlocked (Advanced-level access)
  • Build limit is 50 per month (Maker-level)
  • Team invites are not available (solo use only)
  • No credit card is required

The trial gives you time to connect your accounting system, import your products, set up BOMs, and run builds. When the trial ends, you choose a plan. If you don't choose, your account enters read-only mode — your data is preserved, but you can't create new products, BOMs, or builds until you subscribe.

Upgrading and Downgrading

You can change your plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

When downgrading, features from the higher tier become unavailable, but your data is preserved. For example, if you downgrade from Pro to Maker, your team members lose access but their build history remains. If you upgrade again later, everything is restored.

See Managing Your Subscription and Changing Plans for more details.
